🧬 GRI Bio is a clinical-stage U.S. biotech company working to modulate the activity of NKT (natural killer T) cells in order to halt the progression of inflammatory, fibrotic, and autoimmune diseases. Its lead candidate, GRI-0621, is an oral iNKT cell activity inhibitor that met both primary and secondary endpoints in a Phase 2a clinical trial for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The company is also developing a follow-on pipeline candidate, a dNKT-acting agent, for systemic lupus erythematosus.
